The microfiltration machine is a rotary drum screen filter. The treated wastewater enters the drum along the axial direction and flows out radially through the screen. The impurities in the water are intercepted in the inner surface of the filter screen on the drum. When the impurities trapped in the filter screen are carried to the upper part by the drum, the impurities are washed back by the pressure flushing water into the slag discharge tank to flow out. When running, the diameter of 2/5 of the drum is partially exposed to the water surface, the rotation is 1-4r/min, the filtering speed of the filter screen can be 30-120m/h, the pressure of the washing water is 0.5-1.5kg/cm2, and the amount of the washing water is 0.5-1.0% of the production water. It has been successfully applied to water supply and wastewater treatment.

Characteristics of microfiltration machine

1. The equipment can remove organic and inorganic debris and various types of phytoplankton, algae or fiber pulp from water. When used for reservoir water treatment, the algae removal efficiency reaches 40-70%, and the plankton efficiency is 97-100%.

2. Comparing with other equipment, it has the characteristics of less floor area, easy installation, convenient operation and management, no chemicals, and large production capacity (250-36000m3/d).

3. continuous operation, automatic washing, no need of personal care, the highest concentration of recycled fiber can reach more than 12%.

Working principle of microfiltration machine

The work of the microfilter consists of three processes: sewage inflow, filter and sludge discharge, filtered water discharged or entered the next stage of treatment. The sewage is pumped into the space formed between the two trays. After the sewage is filtered through the tray, the solid particles in the sewage are left on the tray. With the tray attached to the tray, the solid particles roll on the surface of the tray and gradually form a large caking. The rolling action of the caking sticks the particles on the surface of the tray to one. Fixed-size caking falls off the filter screen, thus cleaning the filter screen. When the caking between the two discs accumulates to a certain extent, the machine automatically discharges solid dirt due to the rotating motion of the disc.

Advantages of microfiltration machine

Microfilter has the advantages of small area, large production capacity, operation and management. It can be used for the pretreatment of raw water, industrial water, domestic water pretreatment and final treatment, as well as the reuse of useful substances in industrial wastewater.

Specifications of microfiltration machine

The diameter of the drum is from 0.3 m to 3.0 m, the length is equal to the diameter, and the production capacity is from 250 m3/d to 3600 m3/d.

Specifications for steel wire repair are 700X100 mesh /in2, 500X100 mesh /in2 and 400X100 mesh /in2. It is equivalent to the aperture of the filter mesh 35~60 micron. The intensity of filtration is 10~25L, and the water volume of flushing is 1%~3%.

The main contradiction in the operation and management of microfiltration machine is whether the screen washing is clean.

Application of microfiltration machine

Microporous filtration is a simple mechanical filtration method. It is suitable for separating micro-suspended substances in liquid, mainly phytoplankton, zooplankton and organic residues, to the maximum extent, so as to achieve the purpose of liquid purification or recovery of useful suspended substances. The fundamental difference between microfiltration and other filtration methods is that the total pore size of the filter medium, stainless steel wire mesh or microfiltration mesh, is very small and very thin. This kind of filter mesh has relatively high velocity characteristics under low hydraulic resistance, so that the suspended substance intercepted is always smaller than the micropores in these filters. Machine is the water treatment equipment made of this principle.

Microfilter is a new and most economical water treatment equipment. It can be used in raw water filtration (such as algae removal), power plant, chemical plant, textile printing and dyeing plant, paper mill and other industrial water filtration, circulating cooling water filtration, waste water purification, sewage treatment. A typical example of recovering useful suspended solids from liquids by microfiltration is the pulp (fiber) recovery of white liquor from paper mills. The recovery rate can be as high as 98%. The white liquor can be recycled and purified, and it also meets the national discharge standards.
